Our tour was fantastic. Bruce was so knowledgeable, animated, and just fun to hang out with this morning. You can tell he really loves his job and who wouldn’t when you work at the Sydney Opera House.

Our guide Marcus is so knowledgeable, he made it an amazing experience. We saw quite a bit behind the scenes. We had been on backstage tours before but this is not at all the same. It was fascinating to learn how the design of the Opera House informed the construction to fit in the different performance venues. Breakfast was especially good too! Note that the tour description says no cameras but they were allowed, there were just some areas that were strict no-photo zones. We left our coats and a camera bag in the secure closet at the entry point. No need to fret about what you have with you. Almost everything on this backstage tour is different information than the public tour, so we are doing that too. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get Marcus for your guide!
