This was an amazing experience. We got to swim with whale sharks just like advertised. We also saw a manta ray and a dolphin. They served a lite lunch too. Make sure to take Dramamine for the boat ride.

It was a shame that you only found out on site that you could rent a wetsuit for $15, otherwise you had to wear a life jacket which was included. I had a life jacket at home but didn't bring it because I didn't know this. The day before, I wasn't informed in time about our pickup time. It was very expensive to buy the photos taken by the guide, which was a pity.

A dreamlike experience! We were picked up punctually at the hotel, and our guide Ariann informed us extensively about the whale sharks and prepared us perfectly for the tour. You could tell how much she cares about the marine life. Even if one or the other struggled with nausea, she was able to help. Everyone had the opportunity to swim twice. Always in pairs with a guide who also filmed. The boat was brought close to a whale shark, and you basically jump next to the animal and swim with it for a bit. Amazing! There were at least 10 animals there at the time. On the way back, a short (swimming) stop at Isla Mujeres with a delicious meal on board. A must-experience! Thanks to Ariann and the Maximo team.

It has been incredible. Our guide Ariann was lovely, she explained everything perfectly. We were able to see several whale sharks, and on the way, lots of dolphins.
