The visit to Saint Michel was a great experience. The bus ride is long but worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Saint Michel and was able to give us lots of interesting information. The guide's command of English as well as many other languages allowed her to explain things to some of those who were not strong in English. It was very busy the day I went so traffic made us late getting there. Normally you would have about 3 1/2 hours to explore but because of the crowd we only had time to see the Abby and grab a sandwich before heading back to the bus. This is a tour and site for those who can walk and climb.

The trip to Mont Saint Michel was excellent. I did find the price a lot, but it was for the convenience that I booked the trip. I recommend the guided tour as I would have missed a lot of information that I feel is so necessary to understanding what the place is about.

매력포인트

This is a full-day guided tour from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy by coach. During the journey, your guide will share the history of Normandy, from Roman times to the Hundred Years' War. With abbey admission tickets included, you can bypass the ticket lines to explore the Gothic cloister and the monks' refectory. After visiting the abbey, enjoy free time to stroll through the narrow cobblestone village that still retains its medieval atmosphere.

프로그램

Depart from Paris
and head to Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy

Meet at 18 Avenue de Suffren in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, then board an air-conditioned coach bound for Mont Saint-Michel. During the approximately 4-hour drive one way, admire the Normandy countryside while your guide shares stories of Normandy's history, including Roman and barbarian invasions and the Hundred Years' War fought over this region.

Explore Mont Saint-Michel Abbey with a Guide

Upon arrival at Mont Saint-Michel, explore the island and the abbey on a guided tour. Your admission ticket is included, so you can bypass the ticket booth lines and see the Gothic cloister and the monks' refectory, built centuries ago. Listen to your guide's commentary through the provided earphones.

Stroll the Cobblestone Streets of the Medieval Village

After the guided tour, enjoy some free time to explore the medieval village along its narrow cobblestone streets. Lunch is not included, so feel free to find your own meal. At the end of the itinerary, board the coach for a roughly 4-hour drive back to the starting point.

※ The itinerary is subject to change depending on local circumstances.
※ The abbey is not recommended for visitors with walking difficulties due to a large number of stairs.
