After pickup at a major hotel in Fairbanks, ride about 30 minutes to the lodge. The lodge is selected for its good aurora viewing conditions, so you can see the Alaskan winter sky without city light interference.
Relax in a warm yurt with north-facing windows
Warm up and wait in a yurt with large north-facing windows designed for aurora viewing. Drinks and cookies are provided, and a tour guide accompanies you.
Step outside to photograph the aurora
Watch the sky through the large windows or step outside into the crisp Arctic air to take photos of the aurora. After the tour, you will be driven about 30 minutes back to your hotel.
