Travel north from Fairbanks along the Dalton Highway, a remote road leading to Alaska's far north, all the way to the Arctic Circle. As the forest thins and wide valleys and tundra open up, stop at viewpoints for photos and stand in front of the Arctic Circle sign at 66°33′N. On the way back, your guide uses real-time aurora forecasts to choose stops and timing in search of the northern lights. The fully winter-equipped van carries a maximum of 6 guests, so every seat is a window seat.
