After pickup from your hotel in central Auckland (CBD), set off on a 4-hour half-day tour to the west coast. On the way to the Waitakere Ranges, pass through lush rainforest and enjoy sweeping views of the ocean and native forest.

Walk the black sand of Piha Beach

Spend about an hour at Piha Beach, famous for its dramatic coastline, powerful surf and towering Lion Rock. Stroll the black sand and take in the rugged charm of the beach known as the birthplace of New Zealand surfing.

Follow the forest trail to Kitekite Falls

Take a short forest walk to Kitekite Falls and spend about 1.5 hours there. Surrounded by native bush, the multi-tiered falls flow into a natural pool where you can relax or take a refreshing swim. After your walk, return to central Auckland.
