Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall Day Tour

Leave Beijing and head
to the quiet Jinshanling Great Wall

Group tours meet at Chaoyangmen Subway Station or Shaoyaoju Subway Station and travel by bus for about 2 hours to the Jinshanling Great Wall. Private tours pick you up from your hotel within Beijing's 4th Ring Road in a private vehicle for a more flexible schedule.

Walk the Jinshanling wall past restored watchtowers

Jinshanling is known for its beautiful mountain scenery, restored watchtowers, and quieter hiking compared to the busiest sections. The group tour itinerary includes about 6 hours of free time at Jinshanling, so you can walk the wall at your own pace and enjoy the views.

On options with a guide, the guide helps you with entry, and you explore on your own once inside. There are many uneven steps, so expect a fair amount of walking.

Add Beijing highlights with a private option

With a private option, you can visit the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, or the Lama Temple on the same day as the Jinshanling Great Wall, or walk two sections of the wall at Mutianyu and Jinshanling. There are also tours adding Gubei Water Town and the Simatai Great Wall, and a tour combined with a food tour.
