매력포인트

This combo ticket gives you entry to both iZoo, a hands-on zoo in Kawazu, Izu, and its sister facility KawaZoo, a hands-on frog museum. At iZoo, instead of viewing reptiles and amphibians from around the world from a distance, you can see them up close and even touch them. You can take a souvenir photo with a large python, feed tortoises and watch a turtle race. At KawaZoo you can meet more than 2,000 frogs of over 120 species, and since 90% of the facility is indoors, it is a good visit even on rainy days.

프로그램

Meet reptiles up close
at the hands-on zoo iZoo

About a 5-minute taxi ride from Kawazu Station on the Izu Kyuko Line, iZoo is a hands-on zoo with reptiles and amphibians from around the world. From a giant crocodile right beside you to giant tortoises walking at your feet and chameleons hiding in the trees, you can see animals up close in an atmosphere like exploring a subtropical jungle.

Bond with the animals through feeding and photos

There are various programs with the animals, such as taking a souvenir photo with a large python, feeding tortoises and watching a turtle race. Please touch only animals marked as OK to touch, and follow the staff's instructions.

Meet frogs from around the world at KawaZoo

KawaZoo, in the Nashimoto area in the north of Kawazu Town, is a hands-on frog museum exhibiting more than 2,000 frogs of over 120 species, from rare species to familiar ones from around the world. Some frogs are kept outdoors so you can observe their natural colors and behavior, and 90% of the facility is an all-weather indoor exhibition, so you can visit even when it rains.

※ iZoo and KawaZoo are about 18 minutes (11 km) apart by car. Please arrange your own transportation between the two.
※ There is no set order for visiting the two facilities.
