Dugong Snorkeling Tour from Coron - Sea Turtles & Coral Garden

You are picked up between 5:00 and 5:30 AM from Coron Town or a designated resort. Travel about 2 hours by van and about 30 minutes by boat to the dugong watching area in Busuanga, northern Palawan. Enjoy breakfast on the boat while taking in the sea views.

Snorkel with dugongs

At the dugong watching area, groups wait their turn in order of arrival. Only 5 people can enter at a time, so every participant swims with the dugongs for about 20 minutes. Your guide explains dugong behavior, the local marine ecosystem and the rules to follow when encountering dugongs.

Meet sea turtles at the Dimipac Island coral garden

Snorkel at the coral garden of Dimipac Island and observe colorful fish, sea turtles and other marine life. To protect the marine environment, please do not touch the coral or disturb marine life.

Enjoy a lunch buffet and return to Coron

After snorkeling, enjoy a lunch buffet in Busuanga for about 1 hour 30 minutes. The tour usually ends around 2:00–3:00 PM, or around 5:00 PM on busy days. Return by van to Coron Town or a designated resort.

※ If dugongs are not in the area at morning high tide, you may wait or go first to Turtle Island or the coral garden.
