Jasmine was my tour guide. She was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. She took us to the best local spots, that I never would've found. She answered all our questions, and provided lots of information about Hanoi, Vietnam, and it's history. I would highly recommend to anyone. The egg coffee was lovely! Càm on.

My tour was with Thea - i really recommend a tour with her. She is young, but definitely pationate and knowledgeable and therefore you can learn not only about the past, but also about present and young generation's life nowadays. it's definitely more than what's written in the agenda!

Mina was absolutely incredible! She was so knowledgeable about Hanoi and the French Quarter, but also funny, warm, and such a gem to be around. She made the entire tour feel fun, easy, and personal. We met at the most beautiful coffee house tucked inside a home from the 1930s, and it had some of the best coffee I’ve had in Hanoi. Such a beautiful way to start the tour. She also takes amazing photos, which was such a wonderful bonus! So far, Mina has been one of the best guides I’ve had in Hanoi. I HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with her. She’s truly wonderful! ❤️

Trudno wyobrazić sobie zwiedzanie Hanoi bez zobaczenia dzielnicy francuskiej. A do tego przewodnik jest niezbędny. Mina była naprawdę profesjonalna: doskonały angielski i dokładnie wiedziała, co interesuje turystę w Hanoi. Dziękuję serdecznie Mina !

프로그램

Sip Vietnamese Coffee and Discover the History
and Architecture of Hanoi's French Quarter

On this 2.5–3-hour walking tour with an English-speaking guide, explore Hanoi's French Quarter and learn about the French colonial period and modern Vietnamese history. Starting next to St. Joseph's Cathedral, you visit more than 15 sights, including the Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake and the Metropole Hotel. The tour feels more like a conversation than a lecture, and Vietnamese coffee and ice cream are included.

Enjoy Vietnamese Coffee in a French Villa Café

Meet next to St. Joseph's Cathedral and head to a local café inside an old French villa. Over Vietnamese coffee or tea (about 30 minutes), hear about Vietnamese history, French influence on Hanoi and the Vietnam War.

Walk Past the Opera House and Hoan Kiem Lake

Visit the Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Trang Tien Street, Hanoi Post Office and the first university of French Indochina. Historic photos help you understand how Vietnamese society changed under French rule, along with the pros and cons of that era. Feel free to ask your guide questions.

Finish with Trang Tien Ice Cream and Ngoc Son Temple

Take a seat at the famous Trang Tien ice cream shop and enjoy an ice cream. After visiting Ngoc Son Temple, the tour ends in front of Hanoi University of Pharmacy (13-15 P. Lê Thánh Tông).

※ The tour runs rain or shine, and the itinerary may change depending on local conditions.
※ A morning tour is recommended to avoid the daytime heat.
