One of our favorite activities in Vietnam so far. Our guide, Spring, was extremely sweet and a great griller! There was so much food we could not finish it all and everything tasted great. It was so peaceful to be on the river in the late afternoon and evening (minus our fussy son who everyone was very patient with).

Fantastic tour! Amazing food and we caught plenty of fish!! Booked for my boyfriend’s birthday and they surprised us with a cake and releasing lanterns later in the night! Such a special trip!

A sunset boat tour on the lower Thu Bon River
with fishing and an onboard barbecue

Set off on the river with a rice wine welcome

The tour begins with a boat cruise on the river. Take in the sights and sounds of riverside life, receive a welcome drink of rice wine and a souvenir made from coconut leaves.

Try traditional net fishing with locals

Feel the sea breeze as you fish with locals using a traditional large net. Then try your luck catching fish with a rod and bait.

Watch the sunset and stars over an onboard barbecue

Enjoy an authentic Vietnamese barbecue with the locals and watch the sunset while listening to music on board. As darkness falls, gaze at the starry night sky and chat with your host.
