Great experience. Samba was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made our trip very pleasant. We learnt a lot about the history of the area. We were wary of the monkeys beforehand as we heard they could be quite aggressive but Samba was great at dealing with them and we managed to see quite a few very closeup and took some amazing photos! The monkeys are quite opportunistic so be careful with your belongings… we saw a monkeys running around with sunglasses and hats!

Siamo molto soddisfatti della nostra guida Made....tour bello e interessante.

Made was my tour guide and he made the tour fun. He was respectful and honored to show us around the temple with passion. Very passionate on explaining Balinese and Hindu culture. He was very entertaining on making me and my brother laugh while we were having a good time. Recommended tour guide for future customers 🤙🏼.

매력포인트

Walk around Uluwatu Temple on the cliffs above the Indian Ocean with a local guide, then watch the Kecak dance at an open-air amphitheater on the clifftop. Your guide shares the temple's history and the Ramayana story behind the performance, and shows you how to keep your belongings safe from the temple's many monkeys. Temple admission, a Kecak dance ticket and a sarong are included. Choose between the 6 PM show and the 7 PM show after a sunset walk.

프로그램

Receive a sarong
and start your walk at Uluwatu Temple

Meet your guide at the north entrance of Uluwatu Temple and receive a sarong and sash. The guide also explains how to keep your belongings safe from the many monkeys around the temple.

Walk the clifftop path and viewpoints above the Indian Ocean

Follow the clifftop path above the Indian Ocean, stopping at viewpoints and the Dang Hyang Nirartha statue, and learn how Uluwatu Temple is used and why it matters in Balinese culture. The inner courtyards are places of worship and not open to the public, so the visit focuses on the outer temple grounds and accessible cliff viewpoints.

Watch the Kecak dance at the clifftop amphitheater

After the temple visit, move to the amphitheater and take your seats with the group. While you wait, the guide introduces the story behind the dance and hands out an illustrated story sheet. Then watch the Kecak dance, known for its rhythmic chanting and a dramatic finale with fire.

Choose the 6 PM or 7 PM show

With the 6 PM show option, you take your seats around 5:45 PM, and depending on the season and cloud cover, the show may take place around sunset. With the 7 PM show option, the temple walk starts at 5 PM so you can enjoy the late-afternoon cliffs, and the show takes place after dark, making the fire scenes more striking.

※ Sunset viewing depends on the season and weather and cannot be guaranteed.
※ On ceremony days, access to some viewpoints may be restricted.
