Saariselkä November Small-Group Northern Lights Photo Tour

Depart from Saariselkä and Ivalo
in search of the November aurora

After pickup from your accommodation in the Saariselkä and Ivalo area, head into the Arctic wilderness in search of the aurora. The route is chosen each evening based on the latest weather, cloud cover and aurora forecasts, and you visit the viewing spot with the best conditions of the day around Saariselkä, Ivalo and Lake Inari. The tour runs in a small group of up to 8 people with an English- and German-speaking guide.

Hear aurora stories over warm drinks and snacks

At the viewing spot, spend about 3 hours taking photos and enjoying the scenery with coffee, tea and local snacks. Your guide shares stories and beliefs about the aurora from Lapland and cultures around the world. As autumn gives way to winter, you can see a quiet, peaceful Arctic landscape, and with luck you may even see the first snow.

Capture memories with professional photos

A professional photographer captures special moments throughout the evening and shares the photos after the tour, so you can focus on searching for the aurora.

※ The aurora is a natural phenomenon, and sightings are not guaranteed.
※ The viewing spot is decided on the day based on the weather and aurora forecast, and the itinerary may change.
