Levi 2 km Husky & 800 m Reindeer Sleigh Tour

Depart from Levi and enjoy husky and
reindeer sleigh rides in one tour

From the meeting point in Levi, a minivan takes you about 15 minutes to the husky camp. Friendly Alaskan and Siberian huskies greet you at the camp, and the activities last about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Race 2 km across the snow with a husky team

After a short safety briefing with clear instructions, you ride a husky sled along a 2 km route through snow-covered forests and white landscapes. An experienced guide teaches you the basics of dog sledding, and a well-trained husky team runs with you. After the ride, you can pet the huskies, take photos, and meet husky puppies.

Ride a reindeer sleigh with a Sámi herder

A Sámi reindeer herder tells you how reindeer survive the harsh winter, how reindeer families help each other, and about their habits and traits. Then you enjoy an 800 m reindeer sleigh ride along a quiet, snowy trail, taking in the winter scenery and the sounds of nature.

Warm up in a Finnish hut

At any time during the tour, you can stop by the cozy Finnish hut to warm up by the fire with hot drinks and light cookies. When the activities end, the minivan takes you back to the original meeting point.

※ For safety, the husky sled route may be adjusted depending on weather and trail conditions.
※ On days with extremely low temperatures (-30°C or below), the tour schedule may be changed.
