Put on snowshoes
and head into Levi's Arctic forest
Depart from the meeting point in Levi or your accommodation and travel about 15 minutes by minivan to a natural spot chosen by the guide. At the meeting point, you get snowshoes and poles made for deep-snow hiking and prepare your gear for the day.
Walk along untouched snowy trails
Snowshoeing is a winter hiking method used for at least 3,500 years and is ideal for walking on deep snow. You make your own path across undisturbed layers of snow, hiking a few kilometers through the wilderness. It takes some energy, so there are breaks along the way.
Rest by the campfire and learn photography tips
During a longer break, a campfire is lit at a campsite, and you grill light snacks and enjoy hot drinks. The professional photographer guide shares some tips and techniques for photographing the landscape and nature yourself and takes a few photos of your trip. After about 2.5 hours in nature, you return by minivan.

The Beyond Arctic Levi office is right next to the Levi Tourist Information. Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts. Central Levi includes Leviraitti, Break Sokos Hotel Levi, Hotel Hullu Poro, Design hotel, Hotel K5, Hotel Sirkantähti and hotels at a similar distance.
