Meet at Kadena Fishing Port
and start your Hija River experience
Gather at Kadena Fishing Port in Kadena Town, central Okinawa Main Island, to start the activity. Staff explain everything from the basics, so first-timers can join with peace of mind.
Paddle a kayak through the mangroves
With the mangrove kayak option, you paddle on the Hija River for about 60 minutes and enjoy Okinawa's nature. Start times are 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00 or 15:00.
Enjoy boat fishing and kayaking together
The tropical fishing + kayak option is a set where you fish for tropical fish from a boat and then go kayaking, for about 3 hours 30 minutes in total. Fishing tackle, bait, life jackets and kayak equipment are all included. Start times are 09:00, 11:00 or 13:00.
※ The activity runs in the rain but may be cancelled in bad weather. If cancelled, the organizer will notify you by email by 17:00 the day before.
