From Madrid: 7-Day Andalusia and Barcelona Package Tour - Alhambra Entry Included

Travel from Madrid through Andalusia
to Barcelona in 7 days

This 7-day package tour takes you by air-conditioned coach from Madrid to Córdoba, Seville, Granada, Valencia and Barcelona. You see Andalusian cities with Moorish heritage and cities on the Mediterranean coast in one trip, led by a bilingual Spanish and English guide. Accommodation, daily buffet breakfast and 3 dinners are included.

Meet Andalusia in Córdoba and Seville

On day 1 you leave Madrid, pass through the La Mancha countryside and reach Córdoba. You visit the city's famous mosque and Jewish quarter, then continue to Seville for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

On day 2 a local guide takes you through María Luisa Park, Plaza de España and Seville Cathedral, known as the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. The afternoon is free time.

Walk through the Alhambra in Granada

On day 3 you travel from Seville to Granada and visit the Alhambra. Walk among the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife to see some of Spain's finest Islamic art; parts of the former palaces and harem of the Moorish rulers date back to the 9th century.

A Sacromonte caves visit and a flamenco show are offered as optional extras.

Continue through Valencia to Barcelona and Zaragoza

On day 4 you drive along the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada, with views of the villages of Guadix, Baza and Puerto Lumbreras, to Valencia. On day 5 you have free time to explore the City of Arts and Sciences or the old town before leaving for Barcelona in mid-morning.

On the morning of day 6 a sightseeing tour covers Montjuïc park, the Olympic stadium, the Columbus monument and the Gothic Quarter, with free time in the afternoon. On the last day you have free time in Zaragoza to visit sights such as the cathedral and the Aljafería Palace before returning to Madrid, where the tour ends.
