Discover Taiwan's Indigenous cultures at the Shung Ye Museum

Opened in June 1994, the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines is dedicated to the artifacts and history of Taiwan's Indigenous peoples. Its collections and exhibitions are organized on anthropological principles and divided into four sections: Indigenous Peoples and the Natural Environment, Life and Utensils, Clothing and Culture, and Beliefs and Rituals. The architecture, blending Indigenous cultural elements with modern design, is also worth a look. Free guided tours are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 14:00.
