Dream City is an excellent tour operator because they delivered when things went totally wrong. We were supposed to meet at a metro exit near Arch de Triumph and they decided to shut down that whole area for a special ceremony with Germany delegation without giving the public advance warning and caused total chaos in the last minute, We were caught in surprise as the tour operator and all Parisians. Dream City contacted us and directed us to a different meeting place away from the total chaos in our original meeting point with calm and professionalism. We were able to connect with the driver and then later the tour coordinator and started our trip with minor delay. We had a wonderful trip to Auvers-sur-Oise thanks to the superb driving of the driver who managed to drive through the nightmarish traffic and got us away from the total chaos. The tour coordinator was very kind and gave us wonderful introduction to the village and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend Dream City.

Loved this half-day trip! We were so excited to visit Van Gogh’s house and walk around the village, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, our driver was smiling, friendly, and provided us with excellent service. He was also available on WhatsApp throughout the entire tour, which was very convenient. We were picked up at the Arc de Triomphe, and after about an hour, we arrived in the Van Gogh village. Our first stop was Van Gogh’s room, where we had a guide who explained his life in the village in such an interesting way, sharing so many amazing details that we didn’t know before. After the visit inside, we had couple of hours to explore the places where Van Gogh created some of his most famous artworks. It was absolutely fascinating! We visited the church, cemetery, fields, famous stairs, and many other beautiful spots connected to his work. After our walk, we even had time to enjoy some drinks near the Maison de Ville. Highly recommend!

On arrival, visit Auberge Ravoux (Maison de Van Gogh), the modest inn where Van Gogh lived, painted and died. Then follow his footsteps on a self-guided tour, stopping at the Auvers-sur-Oise town hall he painted just days before his death.

Walk the stairs, church and wheat fields from his paintings

Walk the stepped lane 'L'escalier d'Auvers' captured in one of his last paintings, and stop at 'Racines', believed to be the subject of his last unfinished work. See the church made famous by 'The Church at Auvers', then walk along the wheat fields that inspired 'Wheatfield with Crows'.

Visit his grave and park, then enjoy free time

Visit Van Gogh's grave beside his brother Theo and stroll through Parc Van Gogh with its statue of the artist. During 3 hours of free time, explore the lanes and art galleries or have lunch at a traditional French café. Afterwards, the coach takes you back to the meeting point in Paris.
