I had a wonderful experience at the silver ring-making workshop! Lilly was a lovely mentor, very kind and gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The studio was also beautiful and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely love to come back, either for another workshop or a different experience. Highly recommended!

Lilly was an absolute gem teaching us the intricacy of silver jewelry. Helping us to craft our own individual jewelry piece. The atmosphere at the place was fantastic. Great café. Can highly recommend and would book the workshop or any of the other workshops available in a heartbeat.

This was honestly our favourite experience in London. We had such a lovely time making our silver rings, and Lily made the whole workshop even better – she was incredibly helpful, funny, patient, and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The café itself was such a charming place, and the coffee was delicious too, which is obviously very important when serious jewellery-making is happening. We came home with rings we actually made ourselves and a really happy memory from the trip. We loved it so much that next time we’re in London, we’ll absolutely be coming back.

Guided by the instructor, you learn step by step, from sizing the ring to soldering with a torch, shaping it with a hammer and mandrel, and adding texture. You can take your finished ring home the same day, making it a special souvenir that reminds you of London every time you wear it. Make your own ring
from sterling silver in 2 hours

This is a 2-hour hands-on silver jewellery workshop held at a riverside café workshop in Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. You learn the basics of silver jewellery using sterling silver and professional tools, and the instructor guides you through the whole process in English.

Shape it with a torch and hammer and add texture

In class you learn, in order, how to size the ring, solder with a torch, shape it with a hammer and mandrel, file and finish it, and add details and texture. Because you decide the size and design yourself, you can make a ring that fits you perfectly.

Take your finished ring home the same day

When the workshop ends, you can take the ring you made home that day. It is small, so you can keep it as a souvenir of your London trip without worrying about luggage space. Food and drinks can be purchased separately at the café.
