Driver was on time to collect at instructions for the meeting place were clear. Unfortunately the driver didn't speak any English so I couldn't participate in the chat that was going on in the minivan or at the location. But tbh I had already read up everything I wanted to about this amazing flower so didn't have any extra questions.

Meet your guide at the Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal and travel by car for about 30 minutes to where the sagaribana blooms. Ishigaki Island lies within Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park, Japan's first International Dark Sky Place.

Admire the night-blooming flowers and their scent

Sagaribana blooms only at night and withers in the morning. When it blooms, a sweet and delicate scent fills the air. For about an hour, you walk, admire the flowers, take photos and listen to your guide talk about local creatures and stars.

Walk quietly and respect nature

The environment where the flowers bloom is very delicate and is protected for conservation. Please follow your guide's instructions so as not to harm nature. After viewing, you travel about 30 minutes by car back to the meeting point.
