In the south of Rotterdam lies a stadium that holds the history of Dutch football: De Kuip, the home ground of the renowned club Feyenoord.
Officially named Stadion Feijenoord, it has been the stage for countless legendary matches since its first game in 1937. A stadium tour allows you to explore areas not usually accessible, guided by an expert.
This tour is a great fit for football enthusiasts and travelers looking for a slightly different day out in Rotterdam.
Rotterdam's Stadium, Opened in 1937

The story of De Kuip began with Feyenoord's chairman at the time, Leen van Zandvliet, sketching a stadium he dreamed of in 1931. Architects Brinkman and Van der Vlugt were responsible for the design.
Built with a steel structure, the two-tiered stands were completed quickly, and the first match was played on March 27, 1937. Since then, the Dutch national team has played over 100 games here, and De Kuip has hosted European club competition finals no fewer than ten times.
A major renovation in 1994 added a distinctive oval roof covering the stands. Since hosting Bob Dylan in 1978, it has also been a beloved venue for concerts by world-famous artists.
From the Locker Room to Pitchside via the Players' Tunnel

The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is led by a professional guide. Your guide will share stories about Feyenoord's history, legendary players, memorable matches, and the vibrant supporter culture.
After exploring the locker room where players prepare for matches, you'll walk through the very tunnel they use. Standing pitchside, you get to see the stadium and the stands from a player's perspective.
It’s a completely different view of De Kuip compared to watching from the stands, and it’s also a great spot for memorable photos with the stadium as your backdrop.
Trophy Room, Press Center, and What to Know Before You Visit

In the trophy room, you can see Feyenoord's historical trophies and relive the club's significant moments. In the press center, you can even sit in the manager's seat.
The meeting point is the Feyenoord Fanshop De Kuip. The guide's commentary is in English. Tours are available only on your booked date, and changes or refunds are not possible after purchase, so please confirm your schedule before booking.
According to De Kuip's official guidelines, access to certain areas might be restricted due to venue rentals or unforeseen circumstances. Check the match and event schedules in advance, and experience the passion of Dutch football firsthand at De Kuip.
