BESTThe exhibition is really nice, but the view of New York from the rooftop is crazy. If you go here, you don't necessarily have to go to the observatory.

A Must-See in New York,
The Whitney Museum of American Art
The Whitney Museum, formerly located on Madison Avenue in the Upper East Side, moved to the High Line Park and Hudson River waterfront in the Meatpacking District in 2015. The Whitney Museum has become a date spot and cultural attraction for locals as well as tourists, nestled among the shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs of the Meatpacking District, New York's hottest and hippest neighborhood. It is designed with 9 floors and is the largest column-free gallery in New York.
Whitney Museum Tips

The exterior is designed with stepped floors, connected by terraces offering views of downtown and the Hudson River. The Whitney Museum exhibits over 20,000 works by over 3,000 20th-century American artists, including paintings, sculptures, and installations. Key works include those by Edward Hopper, Andy Warhol, and Jackson Pollock.
The building has a total of 9 floors, and we recommend taking the course from the top floor down to each floor by stairs. On Fridays, it is open late, so don't miss the chance to see the Manhattan night view from the terrace.
Terrace and Restaurant

The Whitney Museum has a variety of attractions, from terrace cafes to restaurants, all in one place.
Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the 4th-floor outdoor balcony terrace. In particular, the Hudson River and Manhattan night view from the terrace at sunset are truly beautiful, and the food is also known to be quite delicious. If you visit the Whitney Museum, we highly recommend enjoying it all together.
