BESTThe Kansai Area Pass was useful when going to areas outside Kansai that cannot be reached with the Kansai Mini Pass, such as Himeji Castle, Akashi Ohashi Bridge, and Lake Biwa. I also used it well when riding the JR line within Osaka... When going to areas other than Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. It's a must. I exchanged it at the ticket office at Kansai Airport, and the JR staff kindly booked me a reserved seat for Haruka, so I was able to travel comfortably when coming to downtown Osaka. I recommend it.

Redeem the JR Kansai Pass
If you purchased the JR Kansai Pass from WAUG, you must exchange it for a ticket that you can actually use.
When you arrive at Kansai Airport, you can exchange at the banding machine located on the way to the airport train. (Green automatic ticket machine)

How to receive tickets:
1. Please prepare your passport and mobile voucher.
2. Select a language from the top menu of the ticket machine. (Supports English, Chinese, and Korean)
3. Select “Recieve reserved ticket”
4. Select “Exchange for Japan Pass”
5. Scan the mobile voucher QR code at the correct location .
6. Please select the pass start date. (You can select a date up to 1 month later)
7. Click Agree to the information regarding pass receipt eligibility and personal information. (2 questions in total)
8. Scan your electronic passport at the correct location . (If it is not an electronic passport, it cannot be scanned and received in person)
9. Check the product on the confirmation page and receive your rail pass.

What to Remember
- It is not available to Japanese passport holders.
- Users with residence status in Japan cannot use the product.
- This product is an automatic reservation product and can be used on the same day of reservation.
- The voucher validity period is 90 days (date of purchase, not date of use).
- Please be sure to bring your passport when issuing tickets. A copy of your passport is not possible.
- Physical ticket machines are available in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Korean.
- If the ticket issuing machine is defective or there is no IC chip in your passport, please go to the counter (Midori no Madoguchi) at the designated station to receive a physical ticket.
- If you need an additional ticket when traveling, please purchase it at JR West Japan Station before boarding.
- Station counters (Midori-no-Madoguchi) have location information for each station.
- Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation voucher.
- Currently, ticket pickup is not possible at Tennoji Station. Please exchange at Osaka Station.
