BESTThis is my second time using the Kansai Area Pass, and I mainly traveled to Hikone Castle and Kyoto. I also exchanged the Kyoto City Subway, Hankyu Kyoto 1-day Pass, and Keihan Kyoto 1-day Pass on the voucher for the first time, and they were very useful in Kyoto... I also reserved a round-trip seat on the Haruka, so I was able to travel comfortably to and from the airport.

How to Exchange Your JR Kansai Pass
If you purchased the JR Kansai Pass from WAUG, you'll need to exchange it for a usable ticket.
The exchange location is at a vending machine located on your way to the airport train at Kansai Airport. (Green ticket vending machine)
The vending machine supports Korean, so exchanging your ticket is not difficult.
1. Select 'Receive reserved ticket' at the top.
2. Select 'Exchange Order'.
3. Scan the QR code from your WAUG voucher.
4. Scan your passport and select the start date for your pass.
5. Receive your ticket.

*Want to reserve a reserved seat on the Haruka Express? Insert your exchanged ticket into the ticket slot labeled 'Commuter Pass' and press the reserved seat button to make a reservation.
How to Exchange for Kyoto Municipal Subway, Keihan Railway, and Hankyu Railway
When you exchange your Kansai Pass for a physical ticket, you will also receive exchange vouchers for the Kyoto Municipal Subway, Keihan Railway, and Hankyu Railway. You will need to exchange these received vouchers for physical tickets at their respective exchange locations!
Each can be exchanged for a 1-day pass and can be exchanged and used within the validity period of your purchased Kansai Pass.
- Kyoto Municipal Subway: City Bus & Subway Information Centers (Uzumasa Tenjingawa, Kyoto Station, Kotobika Kyoto, Kitaoji, Karasuma Oike Stations), Kyoto Welcome Center (in front of Kyoto Station), Kyoto Municipal Subway Station Offices.
- Keihan Railway: Sanjo Station, Tofukuji Station, Uji Station (Exchange not available between 12:35-15:10, 19:30-21:30, and 22:00-22:40).
- Hankyu Railway: Hankyu Tourist Center Osaka/Umeda, Hankyu Kyoto Information Center, Hankyu Kyoto Information Center Karasuma.

How To Use
- Please check your E-ticket via email or the WAUG app.
- On your day of use, please exchange and use your ticket by scanning your passport and E-ticket QR code at the designated ticket vending machine at the station.
- Voucher Validity Period: 90 days from the date of purchase or until September 30, 2026 (whichever comes first).

How to Receive Your Ticket:
1. Prepare your passport and mobile voucher.
2. Select your language on the ticket vending machine (English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean supported).
3. Select "Receive reserved ticket".
4. Select "Exchange for Japan Rail Pass".
5. Scan the mobile voucher QR code at the designated location.
6. Select the start date for your pass (you can select a date up to one month in advance).
7. Agree to the information regarding pass eligibility and personal information (2 items total).
8. Scan your electronic passport at the designated location. (If it is not an electronic passport, scanning will not be possible, and you will need to receive it in person.)
9. Confirm your product on the confirmation page and receive your rail pass.
