The glacier hike takes you through a beautiful, mystical, jaw-dropping alien-looking icy world. It's a relatively easy hike, but I did notice some older folks struggling to keep up. We did the tour on a stormy day, with lots of rain and strong winds - in fact, we expected the tour to be cancelled due to the weather alert. Although nothing went awry, the strong gusts of wind we experienced while on the ice definitely could have resulted in falls/slips/etc. I still believe that the tour should have been cancelled/rescheduled. They should also warn you when you book that, if you get rain, it won't matter that you're wearing waterproof equipment, you WILL get soaked and will need a change of clothes at the end. The tour guides definitely knew this and told us only when we got there, asking if we didn't want to rent better rain gear (which we didn't even know was an option). They were also a bit condescending, and the return bus was late, leaving us waiting in the pouring ice-cold rain.

Did the three hour easy group hike with Nico and had an amazing time. Nico was very patient with our group and made sure to explain how to walk in and put on the crampons in detail. The hike started initially with about 30 minutes to reach the glacier from the parking followed by a small incline. Nico was very informative and provide many fun facts about the various features of the glacier we were hiking on. There were multiple opportunities to take breaks and take pictures. I felt very safe and supported during the ascent and descent. Overall, I had a lot of fun, got my blood pumping a bit and got to see amazing views of the glacier.

The glacier hike was a phenomenal experience! We loved every moment on the glacier. Our guide Cami was informative and engaging. She ensured our safety while leading us to amazing views. HIGHLY recommend this tour!
