BESTI love movies, so this was a tour I really wanted to go on, and I'm so glad I did. As soon as I got on the bus, the soundtrack started playing, and the guide told me behind-the-scenes stories about the filming. From that moment on, I was already immersed. And seeing the Mirabell Gardens and the lakeside scenes in person was so great because they overlapped so perfectly with the scenes in the movie!! Although the tour is conducted in English, it was great because we visited the Sound of Music backgrounds and had plenty of time to take pictures along the way! This is a must-do tour if you come to Salzburg!!
