La Grande Roue de Montréal is a 60 m observation wheel in the center of the Old Port, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Board a gondola with ultra-clear glass and enjoy the city and its surroundings as the wheel slowly turns for about 20 minutes.

Take in the historic buildings of Old Montreal, the varied architecture of downtown, Mount Royal and the St. Lawrence River at a glance. On clear days you can see up to 28 km to the horizon, and at dusk the city is lit up in colorful lights.
Enjoy comfortable gondolas in every season
The gondolas are fully enclosed and climate-controlled, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter. Bluetooth is available inside the gondola, and you can relax on the terrace below the wheel or grab a bite at the on-site café.

The wheel is easy to reach on foot from downtown Montreal or by bus and metro. The nearest metro stations are Champ-de-Mars and Place-d'Armes. There is no dedicated parking for the wheel, so please use the nearby parking lots at the Science Centre entrance or the Clock Tower Quay, or street parking.
