Tips for using the Eurail Germany Pass
The Eurail Germany Pass allows you to travel on high-speed train services or regional trains operated by Renfe. When purchasing your pass, select a 1st or 2nd class ticket and a travel period that suits your itinerary. When you purchase a Eurail Germany Pass, you will receive it within 1 business day.
After receiving your pass, simply use the Rail Planner app to plan your trip and reserve your seat.
Activating the Eurail Germany Pass
All Eurail passes are mobile passes, so you can use them right away without having to exchange them for a printed physical pass.
1. Purchase at a discount at WAUG
2. After booking, an email containing a Eurail activation link will be sent within 24 hours.
3. To use the Eurail Pass, you must download the application. Android Download / iOS Download (Supports Android 6.0 / iOS 10.0 or higher)
4. Click the link sent by email, enter your passport number, and activate your Eurail pass through the application.
5. After activation, enter the start date of using your Eurail Pass.
6. After entering the start date, reserve a train according to your travel schedule in the application.

How To Use
- When making a reservation, you must enter the representative information once more in the User 1 field.

- After booking, you will receive an email with a Eurail activation link within 24 hours.

- After activation, enter the start date on which you will use your Eurail Pass.
- After entering the start date, you can reserve a train according to your travel schedule through the application.
- You must activate it through the application within 11 months from the date of reservation.
- If you board a train departing in the evening and arrive at your destination the next day, only one day of departure is counted. (Example: Departure at 19:00 PM on January 2nd, arrival at 04:00 AM on January 3 > counting as a day on January 2nd)
- Any non-consecutive days selected must be used up within one month, depending on the option. (Example: In the case of a 3-day Germany Flex Pass, it must be used 3 times in 1 month based on the start date)
- Unlimited usage depending on option selected. (Example: In the case of a 15-day Global Continuous Pass, it can be used at any time during the 15 days from the start date)
What to Remember
- When making a reservation, you must enter the representative information once more in the User 1 field.

- The 1st class pass can be used for both 1st and 2nd class. The 2nd class pass is only valid for 2nd class travel.
- The Eurail pass must be activated through the application within 11 months from the date of reservation.
- Days are counted from the start date and vary depending on the option selected.
Age regulations
- All age regulations are based on full age, and please apply based on age on the start date.
- The Eurail Germany Mobile Pass is valid for two children per adult free of charge.
- When making a reservation, you must enter all reservation information for all guests.
- If more than 3 children are accompanying each adult, please purchase a youth ticket for the additional 2 children. (Example - 1 adult, 3 children = pay 1 adult fee + 1 youth fee)
- However, if 3 or more children are traveling with each adult, please select 1 adult, 2 children, and 1 youth to fill in the information for all children.
- Adult: 28-59 years old
- Youth: 12-27 years old
- Children: 4-11 years old
- The pass activation date must be after the departure date.
- To use your Eurail Pass, you must download the application and activate it by clicking on the link sent to your email.
- When making a reservation, the English name you enter must match the English name on your passport.
- When making a reservation, you must provide all reservation information for all guests. (including children and teenagers)
Cancellation and Refund
For passes that have not been registered (not activated) within 11 months from the date of reservation, a full refund will be issued after deducting the ticketing fee from the payment amount.
Refunds are not possible for passes after activation or beyond the expiration date (cancellation requests cannot be confirmed until 5 p.m. on Fridays and cancellation requests on weekends/holidays cannot be confirmed)
