Located in the Palacio de Buenavista, designated a National Monument in 1939, Museo Picasso Málaga opened its doors in the heart of Malaga in 2003. The building harmoniously blends Renaissance and Mudéjar elements with serene contemporary touches. Phoenician, Roman, and Arab ruins can be found on the lower floors. The permanent collection includes Picasso's early works.
