Highlights
Journey to the Top of Europe
Jungfraujoch, located on the Jungfrau Mountain, is also known as the 'Top of Europe' and boasts an astonishing altitude of 3,454m. Take a mountain train from Interlaken Ost and ascend to Jungfraujoch via Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen, resembling a scene straight out of an Alpine fairy tale.
Program
Top of Europe,
Jungfraujoch
Experience the cold air on your face, the crunch of snow under your feet, and the breathtaking panorama. Jungfraujoch, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is nicknamed the 'Top of Europe' due to its altitude of 3,454m. The train station here is also the highest in Europe. Face the towering peaks and snow-capped mountains at Jungfraujoch.
Enjoy the Romance on a Swiss Train
Take a mountain train to Jungfraujoch. In summer, you can see the eternal snow remaining on the mountain top and the green plains, and in winter, the whole world turns white, creating a beautiful landscape. As you admire the scenery through the window, you will soon reach the summit.
Explore the Alpine Villages
Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen are among the most famous mountain villages in the Alps. They are also places you pass through to get to Jungfraujoch, but the villages themselves are so beautiful.
Nestled in the unique Alpine landscape at the foot of the Eiger North Face, Grindelwald is an attractive place where you can enjoy various activities in unspoiled nature. Lauterbrunnen is famous for the Staubbach Falls, which have been loved by many artists. You can feel the powerful energy of the waterfall against the backdrop of the stunning Jungfrau Mountain.
Be sure to visit Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, fairytale-like villages that are ideal starting points for the best trips to the Jungfrau region, including Jungfraujoch, Kleine Scheidegg, and First.
