The National Technical Museum in Prague was founded in 1908 and has been a thriving center documenting the development of various fields of technology for over 100 years. Introduction to major exhibitions and features
1. Transportation:
There are exhibits covering the history of the development of transportation such as automobiles, aircraft, and railways, and historic vehicles and aircraft manufactured in the Czech Republic are on display.
2. Mechanical Engineering:
A variety of machines and engines are on display, demonstrating the development of mechanical engineering from the Industrial Revolution to the present day.
3. Mines and Metals:
Explore the history of mining and metalworking technology, and see real mine models and metalworking equipment.
4. Film and photography techniques:
This exhibition introduces the development of photography and film shooting and production techniques, and displays historical cameras and film production equipment.
5. Architecture and Construction:
It covers developments in architecture and construction technology in the Czech Republic and around the world, and presents a variety of architectural models and design tools.
