The Synagogue of Siena is located in the heart of Siena's ancient Jewish Ghetto, a few steps from Piazza del Campo. The magnificent Synagogue of Siena was opened here in 1786, and this is the Siena Synagogue we see today. It remains a shining example of Tuscan architecture influenced by Rococo and Neoclassical styles and a center of worship for the local Jewish community.
