BESTOn the way to Figueres Mansion, I liked the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff were friendly.
Gaudí's simpler works,
Figueres Mansion
The Figueres Villa, one of Antonio Gaudi's lesser-known architectural creations, is a space with a unique structure, tiles, and impressive works typical of Gaudi's work. It is famous for its simpler and neater feel than other Gaudí buildings. Although it is not covered in the general Gaudi tour, it is a place with significant meaning, so we recommend purchasing a separate admission ticket and visiting.
Figueres Mansion Story
The Figueres mansion was started by Gaudí in 1900 and completed in 9 years, and was owned and lived by Count Martini. Casa Figueres was inspired by a medieval castle, and Gaudí completed it with the help of Giorubio.
In addition, one of the charms of the Figueres mansion is that it is located on a high ground and offers a panoramic view of Barcelona.
Special(?) entry method
The Figueres mansion has an audio guide and a separate guide, so you can tour it together. A maximum of 18 people can visit at a time. Guides only guide internal routes and explanations are provided through an audio guide. Also, since it is only open until 3pm every day, I recommend going early.
