BESTI used the Daegu City Tour Bus for a one-day trip with my friends, and it was even better because the guide told stories about downtown Daegu. It was a cool and comfortable trip in the heat.

Discover Daegu’s Top Attractions with the City Tour Bus
If you’d like to visit Gosan-gol Dinosaur Park and Metasequoia Road—both visually striking and enjoyable destinations—you can simply hop off the city tour bus at the appropriate stop.
Gosan-gol Dinosaur Park was created after fossilized footprints, believed to belong to herbivorous dinosaurs from the Cretaceous Period of the Mesozoic Era (around 100 million years ago), were discovered in the Apsan area. It’s an especially great spot for families with children, as it sparks interest and curiosity about prehistoric life.
The park is directly connected to Metasequoia Road, which features a scenic walking path where visitors can even walk barefoot and enjoy nature up close—highly recommended for a relaxing break.
In addition to this area, there are many other attractions accessible by the city tour bus, including E-World (an amusement park), an observatory, and an art gallery. With just one ticket, you can explore all the places that interest you at your own pace!
Viewpoint – A Night View Spot in Daegu
If you're looking for a great place to enjoy Daegu’s night view, I highly recommend the Apsan Haenim Observatory. Located within Apsan Laundry Park, the observatory carries a unique story—its design symbolizes the wringing of laundry, paying tribute to the park’s history as a place where women once gathered to wash clothes.
Standing 13 meters high, the observatory features a 288-meter spiral ramp made of gently curving pillars, making it an eye-catching landmark that's easy to spot within the park. While it's lovely to visit during the day, it’s especially beautiful around sunset, when you can enjoy both the glowing sky and a sweeping view of Daegu lit up below.
