Architectural Gem, Allianz Riviera

Do you know Jean-Michel Wilmotte? He is a world-renowned architect who designed the Louis Vuitton headquarters, the Louvre Museum, and Incheon International Airport. The National Sports Museum and Allianz Riviera are also architectural gems designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. With its precise lines and stable volume, this stadium is a great sight to see in itself.

Musée National du Sport (National Sports Museum)

At the very bottom of the stadium is the National Sports Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of sports equipment and documents. This place is dedicated to the preservation, dissemination and promotion of French sports heritage. It operates one of the largest collections in the world on the theme of sports, with over 100,000 objects and documents.

The permanent exhibition, consisting of 4 challenges, hides treasures such as Jean-Claude Killy's skis, Marcel Serdan's costumes, the first fork, and Yannick Noah's snowshoes.

Visit Comfortably

Through continuous cooperation with local authorities, the stadium's accessibility has been made a strength. With the connection of the tramway at the end of 2019, public transportation has become more convenient.

It is directly connected to the Côte d'Azur International Airport by tram, and the city center can be reached by train (Chemins de Fer de Provence), bus (line 95), and tram. People outside of Nice can directly access the relief parking lots (PMIN and P5 Arboras), which are connected to the stadium by a free shuttle route, close to the A8 highway.
