How to Recharge

The Korea Travel Card can be recharged at convenience stores and subway kiosks nationwide.
Here's how to recharge before use.

Recharging Method (Cash Only)
Subway Kiosk: Place the card on the unmanned kiosk and recharge the desired amount.
Convenience Store: Tell the staff the amount you want to recharge and recharge it.

How to Get a Refund

Tell the staff at the convenience store the amount you want to refund and you can get a refund. Refunds are available from KRW 20,000 or less, and the refund fee is KRW 500.
 

How to Pay

Here's how to pay with the Korea Travel Card, which can be used at famous Korean restaurants, cafes, and on public transportation.

When Paying for Public Transportation
Hold the card over the terminal when paying for public transportation.

When Making General Payments
When making general payments at restaurants, cafes, etc., insert the card into the card terminal in the same way as when using a debit or credit card.

Checking Balance and Canceling Payments
You can check your balance by tapping the card on the mobile app.
When canceling a payment, receive a refund coupon from the mobile app and the canceled balance will be restored.

Notes on Coupon Recharge
When recharging the coupon, do not remove the card from your phone until the recharge is complete.
