Following in the Footsteps of Takao's First Consul

A cultural yacht tour following in the footsteps of Shi Wenhou, Takao's first consul in 1861! We will present a feast of culture and knowledge that crosses the sea from the perspective of Shi Wenhou at the time.

The cultural yacht will travel along the route of Takao British Consulate Cultural Park - Xiongzhen North Gate - Dapingding Fortress - Cihou Lighthouse - Flag Rear Fortress - Merchant Ship Anchorage - Banana Pier - Xinbin Pier. While traveling by yacht, listen to stories about Shi Wenhou and the Port of Kaohsiung, see the red brick arched building of the Takao British Consulate, and admire the white silhouette of the lighthouse and the blue mountains and sea in the distance.

Taste Rose Garden Afternoon Tea

Rose Garden was founded in 1990 by famous painter Huang Tenghui, who was also the first person to introduce British-style afternoon tea to Taiwan. He not only brought the British afternoon tea culture, a symbol of elegance, but also incorporated Taiwanese flavors and introduced Taiwan's cultural creativity and unique characteristics. You can see Rose Garden all over Taiwan, including the Takao British Consulate.

The Classic Rose Garden at the Takao British Consulate allows you to enjoy British afternoon tea in a 100-year-old Baroque building.
