Meet all kinds of animals, from herbivores to carnivores, at Franklin Park Zoo, the representative zoo of the New England region in the United States. There are so many themes that we definitely recommend visiting, such as the Children's Zoo with prairie dogs, red pandas, turtles, and ducks, where children love their favorite animals, the Savannah where wild animals live, the Kalahari Kingdom of beasts, and the Franklin Farm where cute herbivores live.

With a whopping 72 acres and home to a multitude of animals, the Franklin Park Zoo is a family-friendly attraction in Boston that’s perfect for kids. Inside, there’s a picnic area and a Farmhouse Cafe selling light snacks, and you can meet a variety of animals, including popular ones like African lions, green anacondas, North Island brown kiwis, red kangaroos, red pandas, as well as African and Australian wildlife, birds, reptiles, mammals, and crustaceans. Kids love the Children’s Zoo and the Birds on Your Arm experience program, and the daily Keeper Chats offer a chance to learn about the animals and observe them up close with professional trainers.
