An underground walking tour that you must do when you come to Seattle. At first I was skeptical, but once I actually participated, it was a really interesting and unique experience! This is a local guided tour conducted in English. I was a little worried, but the guide explained it clearly and wittily. Even though I'm not fluent in English, I was able to understand it well enough. It was a truly unique experience to walk through Seattle's old underground city. Streets hidden beneath buildings, former store sites, And how the city was rebuilt I especially recommend it to people who are interested in history because you can hear it so vividly. It's different from simply looking around tourist attractions. It was great to hear the real backstory of Seattle. I personally recommend it!

It was a bit of a shame that I couldn't understand 100% of the explanations because it was an English tour😅 I could understand basic English, but I did miss some parts regarding history and humor.

This tour takes place walking under Seattle's Pioneer Square. Walk along three underground passages built in the 1890s and hear new stories related to the birth of Seattle. The stories of tragedy and reconstruction related to the Seattle Fire are stories you won't hear anywhere else. See firsthand where the city, built on wetlands, decided to raise the streets, adding retaining walls to the streets and filling them to create new roads several feet above the original location. Discover a new side of the city as you admire the historic architecture beneath the streets. Discover the city's hidden history as you explore under Pioneer Square.
