Mount Rainier National Park Tour (Departing from Seattle)

Lucinda was informative. Bus could have been more comfortable. Suspension was very ridged. Inside temperature was inconsistent. Try adding cup holders, seat back pouches, more comfortable seats, larger bus with bathroom accommodations? Too many unnecessary stops for my liking. Understandable for a group of 20+ people trying to suit all comfort levels. Scenery was beautiful. Weather sucked. Can’t do anything about the weather. Would have appreciated more time at Paradise.

John was a great tour guide! We had a great day exploring Mount Rainier. My only wish is that were more stops at scenic lookouts.

I had a great tour with Ken. He was very knowledgeable and had some interesting facts up his sleeve! Unfortunately it was very foggy/cloudy so we weren’t able to see the top. However, the clouds in between the trees on the way up were spectacular! There were a load of people on the bus already once it got to MoPop- would have been nice to have an option to get on elsewhere- not sure where they got on? We were able to get off at the library in the evening though which was a plus! Would have also been nice and feel safer to have seatbelts on the bus. I’m glad there was a bathroom stop half way on each journey too! Overall 10/10 definitely recommend!! Thanks! :)

I absolutely loved this tour of Mount Rainier. Firstly, there were such clear instructions on where/when to meet, and how the day was going to pan. Our guide DJ (Daniel James) was such a warm and friendly driver/guide who put us at ease immediately and genuinely wanted to get to know us and create a lovely atmosphere. Everything was catered to our needs: fitting in a lunch spot ahead of arriving at the park, toilet stops and the best stops! I won't add spoilers on the local insights DJ fitted in too. I loved the 90 mins free time at Mount Rainier, meaning I hiked for most of the time, and used the journey home to eat. DJ even had a cooler and Sharpies on hand to mark our food. He really did think of everything. If you don't want to hike, you can do flat walks around and head to falls, check out the visitor centre in the first floor and shop at the gift shop. It is an early start but worth every minute and every penny. DJ was so much fun and so knowledge. Highly recommend!
