An Immersive Yangtze River Stage Created with Cutting-Edge Technology
Chongqing International Circus City has significantly upgraded its theater facilities for the 'Yangtze River' performance. Utilizing 16 high-altitude wire rigging points, an aerial wire matrix, 10 4K high-definition projectors, and a lighting and shadow matrix composed of over 60 special effect lenses, it creates a 3D immersive Yangtze River illusion. The circular stage transforms into the river surface, riverbed, classrooms, and construction sites, realistically recreating Chongqing landmarks like stilt houses and the Baiheliang underwater museum, presenting a stage where reality and fantasy blend.
A Performance That Unfolds into a Moving Story Beyond Acrobatics

Moving beyond traditional acrobatics shows focused on thrilling performances, this production expands the display of technology into artistic expression. It tells the story of the Yangtze River's ecological changes from the 1990s to the present, showcasing the Zhang brothers' efforts to protect and nurture the river, illustrating the harmony of nature and the revival of the Yangtze River from industrial suffering to green vitality. By integrating various art forms such as acrobatics, dance, magic, and drama, each feat is imbued with emotional significance.
Extreme Acrobatics Performances Honored with Awards

Featuring the production team behind the hit CCTV Spring Festival Gala show 'Leaping Over the Dragon Gate,' this performance showcases over 20 cast members transforming into river fish and executing challenging triple somersaults. The magic show 'Heavenly Maidens Scattering Flowers,' winner of China's highest acrobatics award, the 'Golden Chrysanthemum Award,' is also presented in a more immersive format on a 6-meter high stage. The show includes various acts like aerial acrobatics, aerial silks, group aerial hoops, and single pole, with approximately 100 production staff investing over 2 years and 700 days to perfect the performance.
Choose Your Seat and Enjoy a Personalized Viewing Experience

The Red Zone and Yellow Zone are close to the stage, offering intense emotional effects and immersive close-up viewing. The Red Zone is the prime spot for enjoying breathtaking aerial stunts up close from the optimal central position, while the Yellow Zone provides a close-up view of the performance's details. The Blue and Green Zones offer unobstructed panoramic views, and the Orange Zone is suitable for family viewing with its wide viewing angle. The Purple Zone is a cost-effective basic seat with a panoramic view of the entire performance, recommended for first-time attendees.
