Hürrem Sultan Hamam Experience in Istanbul

Loved the hamman experience. My hamman guide (Wilek) was really good and was able to perform the ritual with great care and attention. Loved it and would do it again. The snacks and drinks provided were a good way to relax even after the hamman.

Great experience, very relaxing, in a stunning area. The masseurs were perfect, skilled, and very nice, they even brought a cake and celebrated my friend’s birthday after the massage !

I had a wonderful experience at the hammam, and was looked after by a very friendly and kind keseji named Semra. First, I poured warm water over myself to warm up, and then Semra gave me a traditional kese (body scrub). After the scrub, a towel was placed at the edge of the central platform, where I lay down and was surrounded by lots of bubbles. I received a full-body wash and massage, followed by a head massage. Finally, I moved to another area to have my hair shampooed, which completed the treatment. After the treatment, I was served a drink in the lobby where I could relax before getting dressed. I had been tired from walking so much during my trip, but I felt refreshed and relaxed after the experience. It is a little expensive, but being able to experience a traditional Turkish hammam inside such a beautiful historic building makes it well worth it!

Amazing experience. Life changing. Everyone should do this!
