Cappadocia: Guided Green Tour (Lunch & Entrance Fees Included)

I had fun diving into Cappadocia’s amazing history and culture. Our tour guide is very passionate when it comes to the history of Cappadocia, it was never boring when he tells us all the history behind those ancient buildings or underground cities.

Very interesting tour. Our guide (G?????) was very polite, knowledgeable, had good speaking skills, and passion for showing us the places, and sharing history/culture details. He was very analytic, and answered all our questions.

Excellent day out - our guide and driver were friendly and helpful. Day would have been better without the”shopping” stops. Also recommend advising people of the amount of stairs to climb/descend during the tour.

I really enjoyed this tour and thought it was a great experience to see some areas located further outside of the main Goreme attractions. Really I was drawn to this tour for a chance to go on a nice short hike along a river trail, and ample time to explore the underground city. Ayhan, our tour guide, was fantastic, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We had some rainy weather, so Ayhan deftly rearranged a bit of our tour so we did not get rained on too much. I rate below 5 stars for 2 main reasons: (1) I think the lunch option was really disappointing and probably not worth including it in the ticket price. It was a really limited menu for a basic small entree with a really sad side salad. Drinks (tea/coffee/water) were not even included. In a country with such good food and where I've been offered tea from random people, I was surprised by this. (2) the stops for the jewelry and sweets did not feel like they added much to the tour for me.
