Cappadocia: Guided Green Tour (Lunch & Entrance Fees Included)

We loved this tour, and especially our guide, Cemil. Highly recommended as an excellent introduction to the Cappadocia region.

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, Cemil, was the perfect combination of informative, upbeat, humorous, and warm. The selection of sites was great - even if you've rented a car, as we had, I'd recommend this tour as a more efficient and meaningful way to visit sites that are farther from Göreme. For example, the underground city of Derinkuyu lacks signage, so Cemil's explanations really made the experience; he also helped shepherd us through the narrow passages, which can get congested with visitors. Ihlara Valley was beautiful and one of the highlights for me, but if you drive there yourself, you have to retrace your steps and hike back up to the starting point; the tour saves you the hassle. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour to others!
