The hike was definitely not an easy one. Near the summit, it started raining heavily. My husband and I couldn’t make it all the way to the top because the ropes could only be used for going down, not for climbing up. The rest of the group decided to scramble up the rocks instead. It was our first time doing a hike like this, and we decided not to continue because it felt too risky. The rocks were very slippery, and there was a real chance of falling. The guides were very helpful and supported us during the hike, so we have no complaints about them. Unfortunately, they can’t control the weather. Maybe next time, when we’re back in Rio and the weather is better, we’ll finally make it to the summit.

The best hike with a wonderful view at the top! You have to be prepared for some climbing, but our guide Edu was great and very prepared. A great experience!

Amazing hike!!! A challenging hike but 100% worth it when you get to the top. The tour guide was great and helped safely climb to the top! Also the spot rock climbing up the mountain was a blast
