Experience Almaty's Grand Nature in a 4WD SUV
Meet your guide in Almaty and set off in a 4WD SUV towards the Turgen Gorge to the east. As you leave the city, enjoy the gradually unfolding scenery of mountains and forests. Experience Kazakhstan's rugged nature up close as you drive on mountain roads and off-road sections inaccessible to regular vehicles.
Hike to the Turgen Bear Waterfall
Upon arriving at Turgen Gorge, follow the trail through pine forests towards the Bear Waterfall. Feel the cool air as you walk through the forest and get up close to the cascading water when you reach the falls.
Along the way, your guide will share insights into the natural environment of Turgen Gorge and the local flora and fauna.
Ascend to the Assy Plateau at 2,500m Altitude
Next, take the SUV up to the Assy Plateau. Once you reach this high-altitude area, over 2,500m above sea level, you'll be greeted by vast grasslands, a winding river, and pastures where livestock graze. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. Enjoy the peaceful scenery of the plateau with a leisurely walk or by taking photos, before returning to Almaty.
