Journey from Las Vegas to the Valley of Fire

After being picked up from your designated hotel in Las Vegas, you'll travel to the Valley of Fire State Park, a premier natural attraction in Nevada. The park, spanning approximately 40,000 acres, features a unique desert landscape where red Aztec sandstone blends with gray and tan limestone.

Begin your exploration with the distinctive sandstone formations of the Beehives, and then encounter ancient petroglyphs at Atlalt Rock. The Valley of Fire Visitor Center also offers insights into the park's geology, nature, and history.

From Rainbow Vista to Seven Sisters

At Rainbow Vista, admire the sandstone formations layered with various colors, offering a panoramic view of the vast desert. Next, capture stunning photos at Fire Canyon, where the intense contrast between the red sandstone and the surrounding desert is breathtaking.

Enjoy a deli-style lunch amidst the towering red sandstone formations at Seven Sisters. After lunch, head to Elephant Rock, a natural rock formation resembling an elephant, for a short hike and unique photo opportunities.

Hike along the Fire Wave

During hiking season, discover the iconic Fire Wave, a signature feature of the Valley of Fire. Walk along the undulating red and white striped sandstone, resembling waves, for an up-close appreciation of the valley's unique topography.

Please note that during the summer months, extreme heat may restrict access to certain trails. Nevada State Parks currently close the Fire Wave/Seven Wonders Loop/Pastel Canyon sections annually from May 15 to September 30. During this period, your guide will adjust the itinerary to alternative viewpoints and routes based on weather and safety conditions.
