The tour begins at Na Příkopě 23 in central Prague, followed by a comfortable 2-hour bus ride to Karlovy Vary, a popular spa destination since the 14th century. You'll receive a short guided tour covering the town's history and highlights before embarking on your free time.
The guided tour is available in English, Italian, Spanish, Czech, German, French, Russian, Polish, and Portuguese. Please note that a single tour may be conducted in multiple languages simultaneously. Alternatively, opt for an audio guide and receive commentary via a smartphone app.
Explore the Spa Colonnades and Geyser with your guide
Upon arrival, embark on an approximately 45-minute walking tour with your guide to learn about Karlovy Vary's rich history. Witness the Vřídlo, the town's most famous geyser, as it shoots thermal water up to nearly 12 meters high.
Admire the spa colonnades and hear fascinating stories about historical figures like Peter the Great and German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who were drawn to this unique place.
Ride the funicular up to Diana Observation Tower
If you've selected the option including the funicular and Diana Observation Tower, take a ride up to the historic tower for approximately 30 minutes of breathtaking views over Karlovy Vary and the surrounding region. If this option is not included, you can visit it during your free time.
Discover the town at your own pace during free time
After the guided tour, you'll have about 4 hours of free time to explore at your leisure. Afterward, relax on the 2-hour bus ride back to Prague, returning to the original meeting point at Na Příkopě 23.
