Explore Herzegovina's Highlights in a Day, Starting from Mostar
This approximately 8-hour day tour takes you through the highlights of the Herzegovina region with a local expert guide. Travel in an air-conditioned minivan or minibus, with group sizes limited to a maximum of 35 people.
After departure, enjoy a scenic 15-minute drive overlooking green valleys to reach Fortica Hill. Spend about 30 minutes at the Fortica Skywalk, taking in the entire city of Mostar below. Your guide will share insights into the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the war that took place in Mostar from 1992-1995, drawing from personal experiences, for about 10 minutes.
Visit the Dervish House and Buna Spring in Blagaj
The old town of Blagaj is a place where history, religion, and unique nature converge. You'll see the Dervish House (Blagaj Tekke), built under a cliff in the 16th century, and the Buna Spring, known for its clear waters and considered one of Europe's largest springs. You'll spend about 1 hour in Blagaj, including guided tours and free time. Please note that visiting the Tekke incurs an additional fee.
Wander through the Medieval Stone Village of Počitelj
Počitelj, a medieval stone village, was built in the 14th century by order of Bosnian King Tvrtko. Situated on a natural karst terrain along the Neretva River, it's also called the 'Open-Air Museum' of Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering a glimpse into Oriental architecture and the Ottoman Empire. Spend about 1 hour here, enjoying a guided tour and free time, with opportunities to taste local fruits like figs, grapes, and pomegranates.
Swim and Relax at Kravice Waterfalls
Conclude your tour with approximately 2 hours of free time at Kravice Waterfalls. You can swim, take a canoe ride, relax by the water, or enjoy local cuisine at a nearby restaurant across the falls. Lunch can be enjoyed freely either in Počitelj (around 12:00 PM) or at Kravice Waterfalls (around 1:30 PM). The tour concludes at your original pick-up location.
