Meet Alberobello and Matera in One Day from Bari
Check-in begins at 8:00 AM at the meeting point in Bari, with departure at 8:30 AM. The air-conditioned GT coach will take you between Bari and the two towns, allowing for a stress-free day trip.
Depending on your chosen option, you'll either explore independently with a booklet containing a digital map and audio guide, or join a guided tour. The audio guide is available in multiple languages, including Korean, and requires an internet connection. You'll also have 24-hour remote support throughout your experience.
Wander through Alberobello, a village of Trulli houses

After about an hour's drive from Bari, you'll arrive in Alberobello and spend approximately 3 hours. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996, this town is famous for its unique 'Trulli' houses – small dwellings built with local limestone, stacked without mortar, and topped with conical roofs.
The whitewashed walls of the Trulli and the winding alleys create a fairytale atmosphere. You'll find souvenir shops, B&Bs, bars, and restaurants scattered throughout. Your ticket option may include entrance to Trullo Sovrano.
Explore the Sassi of Matera, a cave city on a ravine

A 75-minute bus ride from Alberobello will take you to Matera, where you'll spend about 3 hours and 45 minutes. The ancient district, known as the Sassi, consists of cave dwellings carved into the limestone cliffs of a ravine. Until relatively recently, around 15,000 people lived here without natural light, ventilation, running water, or electricity.
Today, Matera is a UNESCO World Heritage site and was a European Capital of Culture in 2019. Explore its labyrinthine alleys, stone paths, and staircases lined with artisan shops, cafes, and ice cream parlors. Your ticket option may include entrance to Casa Grotta.
Return to Bari by Coach

After exploring Matera, you'll board the coach again for the approximately one-hour journey back to Bari. The tour concludes at the original meeting point.
※ The bus will not wait for latecomers. Check-in closes at 8:25 AM.
