Overall, the trip was wonderful. Meline was a wine expert and passionate about the region’s various wines, varieties and winemakers. Be prepared for a bit of driving, but getting the chance to see a bit of the landscape and the wineries was worth it.

We were so pleased we took the Provence Wine full-day tour from Nice - it turned out to be a highlight of our European holiday. There was only 8 of us on the tour, including our guide Andrea, whose experience as a sommelier was only surpassed by his patience and good humour in leading us through wines at three fabulous vineyards. We depart from the center of Nice at 9:30 AM. A small group of up to 8 people will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with a professional wine guide to the Côtes de Provence wine region. Over the course of the day, you will visit 3 wineries and taste approximately 15 varieties of rosé, red, and white wines.

Explore the Underground Cellars of a Cru Classé Château

First, spend your morning visiting a family-run Cru Classé winery set in a château with over 2,000 years of history. Take a guided tour of the underground cellars to learn how Provence wine is crafted.
